Project

This project is the result of the joint work of two secondary schools placed quite far apart in distance but very close in spirit and friendship: Gargždai „Minija“ secondary school, placed in Gargždai, Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Río Miño secondary school located in Rábade, Lugo (Spain).

The final product of the Comenius Bilateral Project we committed ourselves to carry out was to create an audio-guide which combined legends taken from the local folklore of each of the participants, illustrations drawn by the students to acompany the texts and the recordings of those same legends in at least Lithuanian, Spanish and English, as well as in any other languages the partners decided to record them, that’s why some of the legends are in Galician and French, too.

However, in order to create this audio-guide, we needed to develop another product, a computer tool which allowed us to ensamble all these pieces together and which would enable users to choose the legend and the language they want to listen to. Another advantage of this tool is that it will be of free use, which means that anybody can use it to produce a similar product, to enlarge this one or to support new ideas and projects.
